Broken homes. The need for protection. Funds for education. Career choices and job status. Confusion about the meaning of "true love". Teen pregnancy. Unmarried mothers. Where's the Baby's Daddy. Disinterested or absent fathers. Confused/disconnected mothers. The longing for guidance. A sometimes irrelevant Christian community.

The need for security and stability. Bombarded with all of these challenges, today, many young women feel orphaned, unloved and without hope for the future. What young women seem to really want more than anything else is truth, safety, purposeful and faithful families. We believe that Earth's Angels conference and mentoring program helps to unlock the key to these, more than too often, cries, concerns and challenges of today's teen girl and young adult woman. Earth's Angels is here to provide mentorship, encouragement and guide these young women" says Kathy Burrell, Executive Director and Founder. Kathy.

Earth's Angels began in 2002 as a one-day of fun, faith and fellowship has grown to be so much more. The 10th annual conference begins Friday, March 9, 2012 with "An Evening Celebrating Champions". We will honor our Distinguished Hope Honorees; this is a presentation that extends appreciation and respect to senior women acknowledging their faithfulness to God, family and community; integrity and exemplary character as a role model for younger generations of women. The 2012 scholarships recipients will be announced, $1,500 to $3,000 educational scholarships will be awarded to two graduating high school seniors and three young adult women.

Saturday, March 10, includes age appropriate sessions, networking, marketplace, career forum, and much, much more.

"We continue to draw a racially and socially diverse mix of teen girls and young adult women (ages 11 thru 35) who are reaching out for help and guidance. At the conference, they are surrounded by others who share their concerns and peer pressure and they learn how to deal with these everyday challenges," says Kathy. We have a volunteer group of mature women who serve as mentors year round. "Although we're a comparatively new ministry, we have many, many success stories. Those that attend are becoming well adjusted and loving teens, young adult singles and young adult wives/mothers."
